Procrastination, a word evolved from Latin procrastinatus has become one of the most used word in internet from Meme, Motivation, Psychology social media handles, YouTube channels, TED talks etc. But the question is WHY? And the answer is "Apes together strong", this is something being done by so many people around the world very often when some work needs to be completed, when under immense pressure or when something needs to be done which involves failures.
People these days have so many ways to procrastinate, social medias and online streaming services are the primary. This includes TikTok, Insta Reels, Insta feeds etc. which in my opinion has the most serious affects.
If a person has ADHD it will become worse, it is hard to break the barrier and rise when this is the case, it is better to seek professional help. Try searching in Google about ADHD if you have serious issue with procrastination.
Sleeping, Daydreaming are classical ways to procrastinate but the advent of modern technology has given us a lot of options making it more serious issue, back then problems to be solved where less now it is multiple and very hard to detox. Lockdowns and CoViD pandemic will be driving more people into procrastination habit.
